No, this fabrication is sought to trick people into thinking that abortions are harmless procedures, when in fact they are the very opposite. The videos below tell the truth about how violent abortions are.

The purpose of an abortion is always to end the life of another human being. Whatever the method of abortion, it is pure violence being inflicted on another human being. Thus, when people ask “are abortions painful?” the answer is undoubtedly yes.

The Coalition to Repeal the 8th is very anxious to ensure that their campaign does not get tainted with the violence that is inherent in the industry and any reports that expose it will be dismissed as biased reporting. This of course is a campaign strategy, hence the phrase ‘Free, Safe, Legal’ which is founded on the lie that abortion does not need to be grissley and violent. However, getting an abortion is of course extremely violent to the child who is being killed.

Clearly, though this information on abortion is not what the Repeal the 8th campaign trust women to have access to. Nonetheless all the facts about abortion must be told before any vote to repeal the 8th Amendment to the Irish Constitution can be made. 

Abortions are violent, just ask the professionals

It seems it is okay for abortionists to talk openly about what they do when they meet in private behind closed doors.

At the National Abortion Conference in San Francisco in 2015, leading abortionists were filmed talking about how, in order to protect the abortion industry, they are under pressure not to disclose details of their profession.

They were comfortable discussing such details among colleagues: the “violence” of what abortion does, “heads” getting stuck during the procedure, and expressions of unease about deliberately “inflicting pain” on the baby. Another abortionist gave an account of an “eyeball” falling onto their lap during a procedure. The audience of abortionists laughed when the chairperson remarked that this was a sign that the abortion procedure was going well.

As distressing as it is to hear these descriptions of abortion, a genuine debate on a life and death issue requires facing the brutal reality, not turning away from it or sanitising it.

It is helpful to think about Ireland and what could happen if abortion was more liberally legalised when watching these videos. Keep in mind whether or not we really should repeal the 8th Amendment.

This undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted fetuses, and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.

In the video, Nucatola is at a business lunch with actors posing as buyers from a human biologics company. As head of PPFA’s Medical Services department, Nucatola has overseen medical practice at all Planned Parenthood locations since 2009. She also trains new Planned Parenthood abortion doctors and performs abortions herself at Planned Parenthood Los Angeles up to 24 weeks.

Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) is a wealthy, multi-state Planned Parenthood affiliate that does over 10,000 abortions per year. PPRM has a contract to supply aborted fetal tissue to Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

In the video, actors posing as representatives from a human biologics company meet with Ginde at the abortion-clinic headquarters of PPRM in Denver to discuss a potential partnership to harvest fetal organs. When the actors request intact fetal specimens, Ginde reveals that in PPRM’s abortion practice, “Sometimes, if we get, if someone delivers before we get to see them for a procedure, then we are intact.”

Since PPRM does not use digoxin or other feticide in its 2nd trimester procedures, any intact deliveries before an abortion are potentially born-alive infants under federal law (1 USC 8).

“Where we probably have an edge over other organizations, our organization has been doing research for many many years,” explains Farrell. When researchers need a specific part from the aborted fetus, Farrell says, “We bake that into our contract, and our protocol, that we follow this, so we deviate from our standard in order to do that.”

AUSTIN, Oct. 27–The eleventh video release from The Center for Medical Progress in the ongoing Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal shows the abortion doctor for Planned Parenthood in Austin, TX, Dr. Amna Dermish, describing a partial-birth abortion procedure to terminate living, late-term fetuses which she hopes will yield intact fetal heads for brain harvesting.

Dr. Dermish admits she was trained by the Senior Director of Medical Services at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Dr. Deborah Nucatola. Nucatola described a partial-birth abortion technique to harvest fetal organs in the first Planned Parenthood video released July 14 by CMP.

“My aim is usually to get the specimens out pretty intact,” says Dermish, speaking to actors posing as a fetal tissue procurement company. Dermish admits that she will sometimes use ultrasound guidance to convert a 2nd-trimester fetus to a feet-first breech presentation: “Especially the 20-weekers are a lot harder versus the 18-weekers, so at that point I’ll switch to breech.”
